TenneT Germany is the largest transmission system operator in the country. The company operates critical infrastructure to ensure a reliable, sustainable and affordable electricity supply, and is one of the largest investors in onshore and offshore electricity grids in Germany. We are particularly looking for young professionals from disciplines such as electrical engineering, energy engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering and business administration. This demonstrates just how diverse the energy sector is: technical expertise is just as much in demand as digital skills, an understanding of business, project management and the ability to navigate complex interrelationships.

We must create incentives for new jobs and employment opportunities in the green economy and introduce young people to topics relating to the energy sector at an early stage. That is why it is only logical that TenneT Germany has actively supported the NET initiative from the outset.”
