  • 50Hertz

50Hertz is one of the four transmission system operators in Germany and part of the international Elia Group. Together, we ensure the electricity supply for around 18 million people in northern and eastern Germany and actively drive the energy transition in Europe. Our high-voltage grid, spanning approximately 10,000 kilometers, extends from Hamburg to Leipzig and from Brandenburg to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Our mission is to expand the high-voltage grid in line with demand, maintain it, transport electricity reliably over long distances, and integrate it into the European grid.
Our goal is not only to make the electricity supply secure and stable, but also sustainable: by 2032, we aim to integrate 100 percent renewable energy into our grid on an annual basis—a highly ambitious target that requires technical innovation and creative solutions.
We work closely with European grid operators and thus take responsibility far beyond Germany’s borders, because a stable and sustainable power grid is the foundation of a climate-neutral Europe.
As an employer, we offer an exciting environment with challenging projects, numerous development opportunities, and genuine teamwork. 50Hertz stands for openness, diversity, and a modern corporate culture in which new ideas are welcome.

  • Sachsen Energie-Unternehmensgruppe

As the largest municipal utility in eastern Germany, the SachsenEnergie Group reliably supplies around 600,000 customers with energy, water, telecommunications services, as well as energy-related services and modern infrastructure. SachsenEnergie is a partner of the Free State of Saxony and the state capital Dresden. More than 160 municipal shareholders rely on modern supply concepts and efficient energy management. With the contribution of over 4,100 employees, SachsenEnergie generates revenues of €5.5 billion and plans to invest around €700 million in 2025 in the security of supply and the future viability of Saxony.
As part of the SachsenEnergie Group, SachsenNetze, as the electricity and gas network operator in Dresden and eastern Saxony, ensures reliable energy distribution within its grid areas through modern and high-performance infrastructure. SachsenNetze plans to invest around €732 million by 2027 solely in the expansion and renewal of electricity grids.
Each year, more than 50 apprentices and dual students start their careers at the SachsenEnergie Group in ten apprenticeship professions and five degree programs. All apprentices of the SachsenEnergie Group are generally offered employment for at least one year upon successfully completing their final examinations. With very good to good performance, apprentices are even guaranteed permanent employment.

  • TenneT TSO GmbH
